What is KYBELLA®?

The KYBELLA® fat-dissolving treatment eliminates fat cells by destroying them, making them unable to store fat. Once absorbed into the body, it destroys the cell membrane and removes the lipids.

How long will each KYBELLA® treatment last?

It takes approximately five minutes to numb the area. It usually takes between 15 and 20 minutes to complete the injection process after the numbing procedure.

How long will I see the results of my KYBELLA® treatments?

It will take four to six weeks for you to notice a difference. You should see optimal results in about eight weeks after completing the recommended number of KYBELLA® treatments.

How many KYBELLA® treatments will I need to get?

It is recommended to have two to four treatments of KYBELLA® every eight weeks. During your pre-treatment consultation, your injector will help you determine how many treatments it will take to achieve your goals.

Are KYBELLA® fat treatments permanent?

The answer is yes! By injecting KYBELLA®, you can permanently get rid of fat cells under your chin, preventing new fat cells from accumulating.

Is there any recovery or downtime after KYBELLA®?

Most patients are able to return to their normal routine the day after treatment, although the treated area swells and remains tender for a week or two post-treatment. You can cover bruising with a cover-up to camouflage swelling with a scarf or bandana.
