Platinum FACIAL FAQs

The combination of lymphatic drainage and a deep cleanse will depuff and decongest the skin. With more blood and oxygen circulating under the skin, it allows your skin to glow!

All skin types can be treated with the Platinum Facial! If you have skin issues such as aging, acne, puffiness, congestion, or collagen breakdown, this treatment will be perfect for helping you address any of these issues.

Lymphatic drainage is a manual, lightweight massage that works on moving lymphatic fluid through your system to work through any blockages. It stimulates the body to flush out toxins and help circulate blood and oxygen in the skin. This improves dull and puffy skin and leaves you with a glow.

There is no downtime! Your skin is ready to go for whatever life events come your way.

This treatment is a full 60 minutes which allows time for the aesthetician to customize your facial in a way that benefits your skin the most. There will be time for a thorough skin analysis and product recommendation. And of course, it is very relaxing with the lymphatic drainage and neck & shoulder massage!

Red Carpet FACIAL FAQs

While this treatment is not as aggressive as the standard chemical peel, you may experience mild redness and inflammation that could last for 24 hours. We will provide you with more in-depth post-care instructions at the time of your appointment.

The SkinBetter Professional Peel features AlphaRet technology that combines retinoid, alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), and a triple acid blend of lactic, glycolic, and salicylic acid.

This affordable facial is $115. You can’t beat that for a professional treatment!

You may feel mild discomfort or a slight stinging sensation. This is a normal reaction to the chemical exfoliation and the feeling should subside.

There is little to no downtime with the Red Carpet Facial! Some mild redness may occur, but there should not be peeling of the skin.

Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a method of manual exfoliation that removes vellus hair (peach fuzz) and the top 5-10 layers of dead skin cells with a surgical blade. This triggers cellular turnover, leaving the skin smooth and glowing, and allows for deeper product penetration. Dermaplaning can be an add-on treatment to a Facial or performed as a stand-alone treatment, ideally spaced 4 weeks apart.

Dermaplaning FACIAL FAQs

Not at all! You may feel a flight scratching sensation at most, but no discomfort.

You may experience mild redness due to stimulation, which should subside within 24 hours. Dermaplaning allows for deeper product penetration so always consult with your provider on what skincare products are appropriate to use after dermaplaning.

Dermaplaning is only temporary. After about 4 weeks your vellus hair will grow out and a new set of dead skin cells will be at the surface. It is recommended to receive a dermaplaning treatment every 4 weeks for the best results.

This is a myth! Vellus hair has a tapered end, which gives it that soft feeling. When hair is cut with a surgical blade, the end is more blunt and noticeable. This is why some people say they see the illusion of their hair being darker or thicker.

It is NOT recommended that you dermaplane at home. Not only will you not receive the full benefits from a sharp, professional blade, but it is not safe. Dermaplaning should always be done by a professional.
